About me

Brad Monk is a cognitive neuroscientist and human factors engineering consultant, who specializes in human-machine interface (HMI) design, human-system integration, and developing workflow solutions for complex commercial and military systems.

Service approach

I use an empirical approach to interface engineering. This involves an iterative, data-driven, research and design process using metrics to track improvement to system effectiveness, error-reduction, and user performance. I work with customers and their internal teams, subject-matter-experts, and end-users to collaboratively develop user-centered designs based on applied research.
